Celebration of Linda’s Life will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday July 28, 2017 at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong, IL. Burial will follow in Oblong Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9:00 A.M. – 11:00 A.M. at Pulliam Funeral Home Oblong, IL.
Linda L. Baud, 76, of Oblong, IL passed away on Monday July 24, 2017 at St. Vincent Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
Linda was born on September 16, 1940 in Robinson, IL to John Leroy York and Dema Ruth York.
Linda retired from Hershey in 2006 where she worked in the Whoppers Processing. She had also worked for Stewart Security before going to Hershey. Linda was a member of the Seed Chapel United Methodist Church in Oblong, IL and was a member of the Oblong High School Class of 1959. Linda enjoyed collecting Indian and lighthouse items of all types. She also liked horses and enjoyed riding them; flower gardening and watching and feeding hummingbirds.
Linda is survived by one son Scott Baud, Willow Hill, IL; three daughters and sons-in-law Teresa and Eric Spence, Newton, IL, Dana and Donnie Yager, Willow Hill, IL, and Debbie and John Logsdon, Piggott, AR; twelve grandchildren Shannon, Chris, Elisha, James, John Jr., Scotty Jr., Aaron, Amber, Tosha, Camoron, Dawson and Connor and thirteen great grandchildren Natalie, Macy, Matthew, Kaitlyn, Adalyn, David, Carter, Audra, Thatcher, Lydia, Chrissianna, Jaydon and Austin. Linda is also survived by one brother William Dennis York, Lawrenceville, IL and one sister Mary Francis Patton, Robinson, IL along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, two Brothers John James Leroy “Sonny” York Jr. and Ivan Lloyd York, one sister Stella Ruth Armstrong, one grandson James Baud and one great grandson Matthew Isaac Brown.
